Stepdaughter killed for eating dahibara ‘without telling stepmom’ in Odisha

A 14-year-old girl named Tulsi was allegedly beaten to death by her stepmother in Nayagarh for eating dahibara without permission. The stepmother and the girl’s father are being questioned by police. Villagers reported that the stepmother frequently abused her stepdaughters.
