State child rights panel visits SCB to probe charges of ‘missing’ infants

Odisha child rights commission is investigating allegations of 14 newborns missing from SCB Medical College and Hospital between 2019 and 2025. Hospital authorities provided details for five children, with records for nine still missing. The commission is also seeking reports on children born to destitute mothers since 2010.
