Smuggling of the red sandalwood from Gajapati district came to the fore after the seizure of 4,200 kg of wood worth around Rs 2 crore from Tekkali in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district on Wednesday. Eleven persons, including three from Gandahati in Gajapati district, have been arrested.
