Rail bridges to be constructed over four rivers in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar

Four additional bridges on the rivers Birupa, Mahanadi, Kathajodi, and Kuakhai are set for construction by Railways in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. As part of a strategic third line expansion on the Nergundi-Barang section, this 22-km project, costing approximately Rs 1000 crore, aims to enhance train capacity and efficiency on the Howrah-Chennai mainline.
