Odisha seeks more central forces, chopper to thwart infiltration of Maoists from Chhattisgarh

Chief minister Mohan Majhi has requested 12 additional security companies and a helicopter from the Centre to thwart potential Maoist infiltration into Odisha from Chhattisgarh. Despite reduced Maoist violence, he emphasised the need to maintain existing central forces and boost anti-Naxal operations with improved infrastructure and technical support.
