Odisha plans to bring back workers stranded in Bangladesh

Labourers from Odisha stranded in Bangladesh were to be brought back soon, as announced by the state government. Labour Minister Ganesh Ram Singhkhuntia said a list of workers was being compiled since many migrated informally. The state coordinated with the Ministry of External Affairs to facilitate their return, including plans to introduce a toll-free contact number.
