Odisha government to create geriatric caregivers to assist elderly people

Odisha government has initiated a training program to create skilled geriatric caregivers, addressing the growing need for elderly care. The program targets youth, widows, and single women, offering a three-month training course on physical and mental elderly care. Aiming to generate 400 caregivers annually, the initiative will significantly aid the elderly while providing job opportunities.
