IPS officer Ashish Singh removed from CM security

Ashish Kumar Singh, a 2004-batch IPS officer, was removed from IG (CM security) and reassigned. The state govt acted on BJP complaints and ECI scrutiny of medical leave. Singh, trusted by Naveen Patnaik, was transferred from Central range in April, resumed on June 3. The home dept sought clarification after a medical board found him fit.
