Government forms committee to prepare plan to offer medical education in Odia

Odisha’s committee, led by Manash Ranjan Sahoo, aims to provide medical education in Odia. Including SCB Medical College teachers, they will translate MBBS textbooks and propose within 15 days. Health secretary Shalini Pandit ties this with BJP’s manifesto and ongoing regional engineering courses. President Droupadi Murmu released engineering textbooks in 2022.
