Ganjam towns keep up with tradition, celebrate a day after

Residents of Dharakote, Digapahandi, Surangi, and Kullad continue the tradition of pulling sibling deities’ chariots a day after Rath Yatra in Ganjam district. The reason for the one-day delay remains unknown. Devotees from nearby villages and Andhra Pradesh participate in the event.
