Elderly woman dies at cyclone shelter in Odisha’s Kendrapara

An 82-year-old woman, Hemalata Nayak, died of suspected cardiac arrest at a cyclone shelter in Odisha’s Kendrapara district on Thursday night. Authorities confirmed her death was not cyclone-related. In a separate incident, Tapan Patra was seriously injured when a coconut tree fell on his house in Balasore district.
