Bahanaga station master among seven suspended for train tragedy

Bahanaga station master S B Mohanty and the three arrested by the CBI – senior signalling section engineers Arun Kumar Mohanta, Mohammad Amir Khan and technician Pappu Kumar – were among the seven employees suspended by South Eastern Railway (SER) on Wednesday in connection with the June 2 triple-train accident that killed 294 passengers. The other officials suspended are a signal technician, a traffic inspector and an assistant divisional signal and telecommunication engineer.
